PROPS Recognition Program

Have a colleague that went above and beyond for you? Is someone celebrating a work anniversary? Do you know someone that's creating a better work environment for all? If so, we've got you! Employees use our PROPS recognition platform to recognize coworkers easily. One of the best things about our program is that it features a newsfeed where you can read all the amazing work Port employees are doing.

Recognition Types

  • PROPS Values-Based Recognition with Points: All employees receive points that can be used to recognize someone who has demonstrated one of our core values: Leadership, Inclusion, or Service. Recognition is more than just the work we do; it’s also who we are! Points can be redeemed for merchandise or donated to non-profit agencies.
  • #THX Social Recognition: Employees always have the opportunity to recognize someone! This is the perfect way to show appreciation when an employee doesn't have enough points.

Boosts, Comments and Likes

Employees can "like" recognitions and send supportive comments for recognitions seen on the social media feed. If employees have points to award, they can also "boost" awards to add more points to the recognition!

Wellness Rewards/Recognition

You can earn even more points by engaging with our wellness platform, Sprout! Earn badges or participate in monthly challenges for opportunities to earn more rewards and recognition!

Coffee Chats/Employee Connections

Want to meet new people and make valuable connections? Employees can meet with each other virtually (or in-person) for fun and informal Coffee Chats. It’s all random pairing, which adds to the fun! These connections can be shared through the social media feed.

Service Awards (Length of Service)

When employees reach a “Length of Service” milestone they receive points-based recognitions. It's a thank you for their work and the value they bring to the Port!

Awards and Award Delivery

Shop with Achievers! When employees are ready to spend their points, they get to shop an expansive digital marketplace and order merchandise or gift cards delivered directly to them. Points can also be donated to various non-profit agencies!
